Lovely little hotel with a beautiful internal garden and excellent breakfast. The hotel is located in Clifton, perhaps one of the best parts of Bristol. It is also right in front of the bus stop, making travel to and from the city centre really easy. They made a really high quality, and tasty, cooked vegan breakfast for me. I would definitely recommend The Rodney Hotel to anyone looking for something that's authentic and high quality in Bristol.
Fantastic hotel. Just had a 2 night stay here and I was very glad I chose this hotel. All the staff are very friendly and helpful (Lara deserves special praise, very professional), and the service and food was of the highest quality. The rooms are quaint, and extremely clean and comfortable. Far better than experience than the usual franchise hotels around the area. I will definitely be staying here again on my travels to Bristol. Highly recommended.
We had a great time at the hotel as a party of 8 for a hen weekend. Staff were helpful and accommodating. It’s in a great location to explore Clifton and central Bristol. Reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is our room was boiling and the fan provided wasn’t adequate to cool the room. Also our breakfasts were served at different times- meaning some had finished before others were served. Regardless I’d go back to stay and recommend the hotel for couples and groups.
